Sick Days and Surprises

Hi readers!

I'm sick today. I had to stay home in bed, drinking Throat Coat and trying to sleep. Not fun.

I was almost asleep when I heard my dad call, "Callie! I have a surprise for you!"

"Mrrrg," I said, and sleepily got up.

Dad came into my room. He had something behind his back. "Guess what this is?" He asked.
I was too tired to guess.

"A PUPPY!" I yelled. "I've wanted a dog since forever!"

The puppy jumped up, and I gave him a big hug. "Thanks so much, Dad! I'm going to call him Brownie!"

Brownie wagged his tail.

Do you have a pet? What's its name?

Playing Outside

Today it was finally warm enough to play outside. The snow is melting, the birds are chirping, and the headmistress just called my mom to say the science lab should be safe within the next week! So it's a good day. I played in my backyard until lunchtime.

Here is the frog statue in our garden. Until a few days ago, he was buried in snow. (That rhymes!)

I decided to climb my favourite tree again.

I wanted to go even higher than I had in the summer! Amber said, "I bet you're gonna fall again!" I said she had to give me her dessert if I proved her wrong! It was a deal.

"In your face, Amber!" I yelled. "Extra ice cream for me tonight!"

I could have stayed up there for hours, but I didn't feel like it, so I climbed to a lower branch and held on to it really tight. That's because I love the tree and wanted to hug it, not because I was scared. I never get scared. I'm Super Callie. [Fina's note: You were crying like Dell that time she lost her Harry Styles doll!] No, I wasn't! Shut up, Fina!

Hmph. Maybe I was a little scared. At least I get extra dessert tonight.

Hi everyone!
Today we had a day off school for parent-teacher conferences. I got 95% in science! But the teacher said maybe keep a closer eye on my experiment next year. The science lab still isn't safe to go into. Anyway! Dell's best friend, Pari, came to play. She's cute but very mischevious. Josefina says she's like me when I was little. I don't think I was that bad. Let's just say that she's never allowed in my room again.

Pari and Dell spent three hours playing "Dog Princesses". I don't even know.

Well, bye, readers! It's getting nicer here, and I want to go play outside tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Guess what? I have Pinterest! I have to share it with everyone else, though. Poo. I have a science board! Dell made a weird pink one and she doesn't know how to type. Here is the link:

See ya,

Inky has a contest on her blog, and the theme is love. So I took this picture of Amber and Dell hugging because it's pretty cute. Dell is kind of obsessed with Amber and follows her around everywhere. It's funny to watch.

New Clothes- a guest post by Amber

(Hi readers- We got a bunch of new clothes. Amber LOVES that kind of thing, and I think it's boring boring boring, so she's the one writing about them. -Callie)

So here are our new clothes. I'm in the coral sweater. I love the asymmetrical hem on it. Fina got new jeggings and these really fuzzy purple boots. They really suit her sort of casual feminine style, you know? And Callie got a new Fair Isle sweater. She did a very fabulous pose.

Too bad you can't see Fina's fuzzy boots. But I'm pretty happy with these clothes, even though the sweater is a little hard to put on. I definitely recommend the Frosty Fair Isle outfit and Isabelle's Coral Sweater from AG Couture. They are very cute!
